A Rage Unleashed is the 75th main story mission in Red Dead Redemption 2 (RDR2). This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of A Rage Unleashed Main Quest including all Gold Medals for 100% completion.
A Rage Unleashed is unlocked after completing Just a Social Call.

Gold Medal Requirements:
- Knock out 2 soldiers on the boat
- Round up the horses and reach shore within 1 minute 30 seconds
Starting Location: Roanoke Ridge, New Hanover
Talk to Reverend Swanson
Even though this mission starts with you talking to Reverend Swanson, it has nothing to do with him. Shortly afterwards, you end up riding out with Dutch and Eagle Flies to help rescue their horses from the US Army!
Follow Eagle Flies to the edge of a channel where he has canoes moored.
At night, paddle out to the boat.
You will have to wait for the first boat to unload its passengers, then move up to the same spot and you will climb on board.
- GOLD MEDAL: Knock out 2 soldiers on the boat
Make sure you are unarmed, and crouch walk up behind the guard directly ahead of you to get the option for a non-lethal Stealth Knockout.
Turn to your left and move forwards a little until you hear one of the guards say that he’s taking a smoke break.
He will walk out of the door and turn to the left, putting his back to you. Don’t worry about the guard inside, Charles will take him out.
Sneak straight ahead and do another Stealth Knockout.
After this, there are three more guards at the bow playing cards who you can deal with however you want. Dutch will tell you to release the anchor, but you don’t know how. Dutch suggests dynamite and Arthur just does it without even considering any alternatives. Oh well.
- GOLD MEDAL: Round up the horses and reach shore within 1 minute 30 seconds
Dutch isn’t much of a sailor either, and the boat runs aground. You let the horses out of their stables so that they won’t drown, but they’re panicked and swim the wrong way. Swim out to any of the three highlighted horses and mount one.
Once you are on a horse, point it towards shore and start swimming. The other two will follow you.
Swim for shore within 1:30 and you will complete your gold medal objective. Now just ride towards Dutch and Eagle Flies to end the mission.
This finishes A Rage Unleashed main mission in Red Dead Redemption 2. Now the next quest The Delights of Van Horn starts.

Your sure that this sentence “Once they have all been eliminated, ride for the end of the area and the ending cinematic will play to close out the mission” (at the end of the mission walkthrough) is related to this mission?
