Red Dead Redemption 2 The Wheel Walkthrough

The Wheel is the 88th main story mission in Red Dead Redemption 2 (RDR2). This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of The Wheel Main Quest including all Gold Medals for 100% completion.

The Wheel begins automatically after completing Red Dead Redemption.

Gold Medal Requirements:

• Reach Pronghorn Ranch without dropping any supplies
• Reclaim the wagon within 1 minute

Starting Location: Strawberry, West Elizabeth

This mission will begin automatically after the completion of the previous mission, Red Dead Redemption.

Find Work in Strawberry

Playing now as John Marston, you will first have to drive your wagon to Strawberry, following the mission waypoint to the general store.

Once there, go inside to talk to the shopkeeper about getting some work. He hires you to run supplies out to the Pronghorn Ranch.

Go to the Doctor’s Office to meet with Abigail and tell her the good news.

Afterwards, return to your wagon. They’ve loaded it up and you’re ready to go. Drive to Pronghorn Ranch, but drive carefully!

There is no time limit, and no reason to rush, so take your time and don’t hit anything. Be sure to slow down on turns and anywhere where you might not have good visibility.

When you arrive, Mr. Dickens will look over your wagon to make sure everything arrived in one piece.

John will ask him about farm hand jobs, and while discussing it, will be interrupted by some outlaws nosing around your wagon.

They steal John’s wagon, and he isn’t having any of that.

• GOLD MEDAL: Reclaim the wagon within 1 minute
  

Run straight ahead and get on the waiting horse.

Gallop after them and pull alongside. When prompted, press   /   to jump to the wagon.

You will automatically kick the outlaws off the wagon. Turn it around and drive it back to Pronghorn Ranch, dropping it off at the waypoint. You save the wagon, the supplies, and even get a job. A good day’s work.

This finishes The Wheel main mission in Red Dead Redemption 2. Now the next quest Simple Pleasures starts.
