Follow the Caravan
The camp is moving to a new (and warmer) location at Horseshoe Overlook near the town of Valentine.
The mission opens with Arthur driving a rickety wagon, whose wheel breaks after crossing a river. Get off the wagon and fix it as quickly as possible because time is of the essence on this mission.
- GOLD MEDAL: Complete within 6 minutes
Roll the wheel over to the axle while Hosea and Charles lift the wagon into position. Follow the prompts to fix the wheel, bashing it into place. After a cinematic, get back on the wagon and continue your trek.
Go to Horseshoe Overlook
Don’t spare the horses now, travel as quickly as you can while maintaining maneuverability. Remember, these wagons steer like a pig. Along the way Hosea will give you some background history of the area, as well as some herbs that you can use for crafting. Keep following the path to the waypoint and eventually as you get close to the camp, you will hear Javier call out to you.
Bring the wagon to a stop so that he can jump on the back. As soon as he’s on, continue on to the camp as quickly as is safe among the trees. Drive the wagon into the yellow objective area and bring it to a stop. Watch the resulting cinematic to complete the mission, and the end of chapter 1.
