Red Dead Redemption 2 Advertising, the New American Art – II Walkthrough

Advertising, the New American Art – II is the 34th main story mission in Red Dead Redemption 2 (RDR2). This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of Advertising, the New American Art – II Main Quest including all Gold Medals for 100% completion.

Advertising, the New American Art – II is unlocked after completing The Course of True Love III.

Gold Medal Requirements:

• Headshot 5 Lemoyne Raiders in the saloon
• Complete with at least 90% accuracy
• Complete the mission without taking any health items

Starting Location: Clemens Point, Lemoyne

Talk to Abigail

Talk to Abigail in the camp, and she will inform you that Hosea and John were looking for you, and that you can catch up with them at the moonshine stash.

Get on your horse, and go to the newly revealed waypoint for Hosea

Talk to Hosea

Advertising, the New American Art – II officially starts here for some reason. Get off your horse and talk to Hosea, who will tell you about his insane plan to sell the moonshine back to the people you stole it from originally. The brass balls on this guy. Climb up on the wagon and drive Hosea to the Braithwaite Manor

Eventually you will be stopped by guards at the Braithwaite gates. Hosea will explain your business there, and the guard will wave you in to speak with Catherine Braithwaite while a second jumps on your tailgate for a ride and a third on horseback will follow you with a shotgun. Not an abundance of trust here.

You’ll speak with Ms. Braithwaite at the house, and Hosea will talk you into a deal to give the moonshine away at the tavern run by Mr. Gray. Sneaky.

Take the Moonshine to the Rhodes Saloon

Drive to Rhodes, being careful not to damage your cargo, and park in the yellow objective area.

Grab some moonshine out of the back of the wagon, and follow Hosea inside.

Get behind the bar with the case. Follow the directional prompts to pour the moonshine into shotglasses and serve them.

After serving well into the evening, you’ll be interrupted by a group of Lemoyne Raiders who barge in.

The shooting starts soon afterward.

• GOLD MEDAL: Complete with at least 90% accuracy
  
• GOLD MEDAL: Headshot 5 Lemoyne Raiders in the saloon
  
• GOLD MEDAL: Complete the mission without taking any health items

You need 90% accuracy on this requirement, so be very careful when you fire that you’ve absolutely got the shot. Fall back on Dead eye if necessary. It won’t take long to get 5 headshots in the saloon, so take your time and keep your head down.  When you’ve eliminated all the Raiders on the first floor, go up the stairs to the second to eliminate the Raider who is grappling with Hosea, and any others who you haven’t killed yet along the way.

Follow Hosea through a back staircase and out to the wagon below.

Hosea will start to drive away, leaving you free to cover your escape.

Eventually when you eliminate all of the Raiders following you, Hosea will pull over and allow you to jump down, ending the mission.

This finishes Advertising, the New American Art – II main mission in Red Dead Redemption 2. Now the next quest Magicians for Sport starts.
