Red Dead Redemption 2 Money Lending and Other Sins VI-VII Walkthrough

Money Lending and Other Sins is a Story Mission in Red Dead Redemption 2 and consists of several parts. This Walkthrough shows how to complete the final two parts, taking place in Chapter 6.

Money Lending and Other Sins VI Starting Location

The Austrian-based Loan-Shark in our gang, Leopold Strauss, wants us to collect a few more overdue debts from two people.

J. John Weathers

Mr. Weathers is a deserter from the Army and located to the west of our camp.

We will see him under his wagon, doing some repairs. Shortly after talking to him, we will be attacked. We are not here to save him, but saving our own skin should be worth it.
Check the mini-map and peek out of cover to use Dead Eye to easily mark some headshots.
At some point, a lantern on the wagon will get hit and the whole cart is going up in flames.
Once all enemies are dealt with, his pregnant wife will come out of cover and we will see that this guy has enough to worry about. Absolving his debt will give us an honor-boost.

Arthur Londonderry

The next target is Arthur Londonderry, a worker in the mines of Annesburg.

Once we arrive, we need to speak with the foreman inside. He tells us that Arthur is dead and we should head to his wife, if we want to collect anything.
Mrs. Londonderry is located a bit to the south an quite desperate. She has a child and can’t offer anything – some others even want to claim her house.

We can’t collect any money from her, but have to absolve the debt. The second option is to actually give some money to her. This will give us some more honor.

Arthur is really sick of Strauss’ errands and doesn’t want to collect money from any more poor souls.

Part VII – Finale

Head back to camp and confront Strauss. Arthur doesn’t want him around the camp anymore and throws him out.

One less morally questionable thing to worry about.
