Red Dead Redemption 2 Oh, Brother Stranger Mission Walkthrough

Oh, Brother is a Stranger Mission Strand (Side Questline) in Red Dead Redemption 2. This Walkthrough shows how to complete the Stranger Missions.

Requirements: having finished The Gilded Cage (Chapter 4)

Note: Unlike all other Stranger Mission Strands, the following parts are not automatically marked on the map. You have to get close like approaching any new Stranger.

Oh, Brother Starting Location

In Front of Valentine’s General Store, we can find some arguing people starting mid-Chapter 4. A pair of twins – Proetus & Acrisius – are fighting over the same woman; Helen.
They both want to prove their love to her and show, who is the bravest amongst them.
They reckon we are a good shooter and want us to shoot bottles off their heads. First, large ones; next smaller ones; and finally while standing on one leg.
When these three rounds are over and you hopefully haven’t killed them, Proetus will take Helen and walk away, followed by his brother, of course.

Part II

A few days after our first encounter we can meet our trio again. Still, they are trying to court Helen and want to prove their toughness once again – this time: with punches.
First, a straight punch to the face; second a punch in the stomach; finally, a kick in the nuts.

Since there are no winners but only losers, it’s time to let them take off again.

Part III

Another few days from the last encounter, the twins stand at the top of the Cumberland Falls. For the ultimate proof of love and strength, they want to travel down the waterfall in a barrel. Nothing easier than that – off you go!

When the two idiots fall down, Helen is finally worried and wants to take a look at what happened. How noble.
After riding a bit downstream to the circled area, things don’t look too good at a first glance. But somehow, these two fools managed to survive.

This somehow changed them. They are now complimenting and hugging each other. The twins don’t want to have anything to do with Helen anymore and walk off, arm in arm.

Arthur and Helen are quite puzzled about this, but can appreciate their decision.
