The American Inferno, Burnt Out Starting Location
After a bit of conversation, he invites us to visit him at his cabin at Tanner’s Ranch, just a bit to the South.
After one day or more, we can see the marker on the map and pay Miller a visit. He is eager to show us something, so we’ll mount up and follow him.
On the way, there will be a deer caught in a trap. Mash to free it and give it a second chance.
Eventually, we will reach a camp with hunters and Miller provokes them by saying they destroy the nature around them. Miller gets knocked out and now it is up to us to deal with them.
They will draw guns, even if you try to fight them with your fists; so you might as well go in Dead-Eye-Mode immediately.
Another day after the previous encounter, we can visit him again.
He is busy writing and can only be seen through the window.
Miller said he won’t drink, eat or go out until his draft is finished.
Put some food in front of his door to end this part and check up on him at a later date.
The next time we want to check on Miller, we don’t get a response and can only hear the flies buzzing. Not a good sign…
Kick in the door and we find him dead at his desk. Reading his final words, his wish is to be burned. Grab the watch from the desk, which can be sold for money and light the curtains on the other side of the cabin.
