Cyberpunk 2077 Cyberpsycho Sighting: Bloody Ritual Walkthrough

Cyberpsycho Sighting: Bloody Ritual is a Gig in Cyberpunk 2077 (CP77). This walkthrough will guide you through all steps of the Cyberpsycho Sighting: Bloody Ritual Gig (Side Quest).

District: Watson, Northside
Requirement: Completed Main Story Job “Playing for Time” & Visit the Bloody Ritual location at night (after 8pm) to get the quest marker on the map

Mission Info: Not everyone’s made for Malestrom. Some – surprise, surprise – don’t take too well to having half their face chopped off. They start hearing voices, seeing and imagining things. Then, it’s enough to get their hands on a gun, and… that recipe for disaster’s ready to serve.

Starting Location: Cyberpsycho Sighting: Bloody Ritual

The Bloody Ritual Cyberpsycho Sighting in Cyberpunk 2077 is only available at night after 8PM (you can skip time in the menu) and you must have completed Main Story Job “Playing for Time“.

Locate where the Ritual took place

Upon your arrival at the quest marker, Regina (Fixer for Watson) will call you. Then you get a quest marker at the ritual site, which is the same place as the quest start location shown above.

Search the area for survivors

As soon as you approach, there will be a sole survivor crawling on the ground and you’ll see him die from his wounds.

Search the corpse (optional)

Search the corpse of the guy who just died. He’ll also have a yellow marker on him. This will give you a shard, explained in the next objective.

Crack the ritualist’s shard

Here’s how to Crack the Ritualist’s Shard in Cyberpsycho Sighting Bloody Ritual:

1. Open your Menu, scroll over the Journal section.
   
2. This will open a drop-down menu called “Shards”, click on it.
   
3. At the bottom of the Shards List, click on the Shard Called “It’s Time”. Press SQUARE (PlayStation) / X (Xbox) to crack the security of the shard.
   
4. This brings up a randomized Breach Puzzle. You must select the columns and rows that show the numbers displayed in the top right corner (the numbers shown in the Buffer). Since this is randomized the solution will vary each time.
   

If you fail the Breach attempt, simply select the Shard again from the menu and initiate another Cracking attempt. Then the objective will complete.

Search the area to collect information

After you’ve cracked the ritualist’s shard, you will need to scan and interact with some objects.

Clue #1: Scan ( / ) the body on the floor next to the body where you took the shard.

Clue #2: Scan ( / ) the bloody tarp on the floor, where another body is with a big blood splatter.

Clue #3: Interact with the tub (ice bath) in the middle of the area.

Clue #4: Also Scan ( / ) the tub (ice bath).

Clue #5: Interact with the corpse in the corner, from where you entered the ritual area you’d turn left to see it. The body has a blue interaction icon when you go near it. See the minimap in the top right corner of the below screenshot.

Neutralize the threat

After finding all the clues, head back to the tub in the middle of the ritual area. A Cyberpsycho will emerge from it, called Zaria Hughes. Attack Zaria once to start the boss battle. Be warned, this is a challenging fight if you’re still early in the game. Be sure to dodge / incoming attacks and go for headshots. If it’s too difficult. lower the difficulty to easy in game options.

Search the corpse

After you’ve defeated Zaria Hughes, loot the body for another shard.

Read the Shard found on Zaria

Just like we did before, open the Menu > scroll over Journal > Shards > read the one called “!!!” at the bottom of the list.

Message Regina about Cyberpsycho Sighting: Bloody Ritual

Quit back out of the menu and you’ll get the last objective – to message Regina about what happened. To message Regina: Open Menu > scroll over Journal > click the “Messages” Tab that comes up above Journal > scroll to Regina Jones > click on the message “Cyberpsycho Sighting: Bloody Ritual” and click the blue reply text on the right side to write to her.

After quitting out of the menu this Cyberpsycho Sighting will conclude.
