Off the Leash is a Side Job in Cyberpunk 2077 (CP77). This walkthrough will guide you through all steps of the Off the Leash Side Quest.
Area: Westbrook (Japantown)
Quest Giver: Kerry
Requirement: Complete Side Job “I Don’t Wanna Hear It“, wait 12 in-game hours for Kerry to call
Reward: 348 XP / Streety Cred XP
Mission Info: You know, Kerry’s whole escapade makes me think. People do change. He did. I mean – he made it to a crossroads, and now I can see his rockerboy heart pushing him down the right path. The problem, you ask? Kerry might’ve changed, but the city hasn’t. And I think he knows it. He’ll so do you.
Objectives:
- Go to the given address
- Talk to the bouncer
- Look for Kerry
- Follow Kerry
- Talk to Kerry
Kerry Eurodyne Romance: This is the 6th quest of Kerry Eurodyne’s questline. If you’re playing a male character (male body type & male voice), you can potentially romance Kerry in his final quest. He cannot be romanced by females. The important romance decisions will be marked red in this walkthrough.

Go to the given address
Regardless of the outcome of the Side Job “I Don’t Wanna Hear It“, Kerry invites you to the club Dark Matter after 12 hours have passed (can skip time in menu). Head there to progress.
Talk to the bouncer
Speak to the bouncer at the elevator, and let them know you’re there for Kerry to be let up.
Look for Kerry
Depending on the outcome of “I Don’t Wanna Hear It” there with potentially be a party going on for a song collaboration between Kerry and Us Cracks, in which case you have to wait for him to come out.
Follow Kerry
Speak to Kerry, then go with him in the elevator up to the Terrace. Follow him out to the railing.
Talk to Kerry
Interact with the railing to continue speaking with Kerry.
IMPORTANT: The dialogue here leads into Kerry’s romance options. Be sure to kiss him here (only available if you play a male body type with male voice). If you play a female, you can still get his next quest but can’t romance him. Pick the following dialogues (male example):
- “[Lean] Glad we got a moment to ourselves”
- “You can tell me”
- “But you did make it”
- “Maybe it’s time you stopped being afraid”
- “[Kiss Kerry] Yes”.
After the dialogue, Kerry says he’s going to stay here for a bit, and you can leave back through the elevator and the Side Job will be complete. You then need to wait 24 in-game hours until he calls you for the next Side Job “Boat Drinks“.
