Cyberpsycho Sighting: Discount Doc is a Gig in Cyberpunk 2077 (CP77). This walkthrough will guide you through all steps of the Cyberpsycho Sighting: Discount Doc Gig (Side Quest).

Mission Info: Working on a construction site has its perks: breeze on your face, sun on your shoulders, no creepy corpo smell and tangible results you can show off to the world. It’s good, honest work. ‘Course Night City’s always got a way of fucking things up.

Starting Location: Cyberpsycho Sighting: Discount Doc

Discount Doc starts at Santo Domingo (Rancho Coronado).

Find the cyberpsycho

Once you enter the yard where this gig marker is, a soldier will knock over a car to protect himself from a huge enemy in a mech suit. The cyberpsycho (Chase Coley) is the big guy in the mech suit.

Defeat the attacker

This is actually one of the hardest fights in the game. As soon as you enter the yard, you should sprint to the psycho and attack the box on his back. Melee weapons work fine, just get as much damage in as quickly as possible. For the first 10 seconds he just stands around in the same spot. If you can destroy his weakspot it will deal him massive damage.

After about 10 seconds he will use his shield to knock you on the ground. If that happens he will immediately shoot you and unless you get lucky that he misses he might insta-kill you with this combo (depending on your level and gear). As soon as you destroyed his weakpoint, or when he starts to move, you’ll want to dodge away and keep your distance for the rest of the fight. Getting close to him is deadly, he will always knock you down with his shield and then bombard you with powerful attacks. You can hide in the building next to where this psycho spawned (also has a door you can pass through). Shoot his legs until his health is depleted (because he doesn’t protect them with the shield).

If you are seriously underleved, this fight can be very challenging but you can also lower difficulty in game options. I was able to do it at level 26 on easy difficulty without too much trouble.

Search the area to collect information / Read the shard “Doesn’t look good” / Read the shard “Send a crew”

There are a few pieces of information you need to collect. This gives you some shards which you will then need to read from the Shards Menu.

Here are the information locations:

1. Loot the boss after defeating him.
   
2. Loot the body of the 2nd enemy that spawned in the yard (the guy who flipped the car over at the start).
   
   
3. Look inside the building / hut for a laptop. Read the messages on it for the last collectible info. In the below images check the minimap in top right corner for reference.
    

To read the shards: open the Menu > scroll over Journal > click “Shards” section below Journal > scroll down and read the new shards at the bottom of the list. Close the menu when done.

Open the Menu > Scroll over Journal > click the “Messages” Section that appears above Journal > scroll down and click on Regina Jones in message list > select the message that shows “Reply” option and click the blue text to reply. Close the menu to complete the gig.
