Cyberpunk 2077 I’ll Fly Away Walkthrough

I’ll Fly Away is a Side Job in Cyberpunk 2077 (CP77). This walkthrough will guide you through all steps of the I’ll Fly Away Side Quest.

Area: Badlands
Quest Giver: Mitch
Requirement: Only available after Panam’s 1st Side Job “Riders on the Storm” and before completing her 3rd side job “Queen of the Highway“. The reason is that the Aldecaldos move their camp during Panam’s 3rd side job which makes this job unavailable!
Reward: 1140XP, 2564 Street Cred
Mission Info: Something about corpses draws you to their unfinished biz, V. It was me… now Scorpion. Mitch wants you to fulfill his final request. Gotta admit it’s got my curiosity piqued, but hey, as a dead guy, I’m biased.

• Get in Mitch’s car
• Follow Mitch
• Talk to Mitch
• Take the gas container
• Put the gas container in the passenger seat of Scorpion’s car
• Talk to Mitch

Starting Location: I’ll Fly Away

Missable Quest: This job requires you to have completed Panam’s 1st side job “Riders on the Storm” but it becomes unavailable after her 3rd side job “Queen of the Highway” (because the Aldecaldos move their camp north). Hence this quest is missable! If you don’t see the quest marker on the map, approach the location and it should appear.

Talk to Mitch

Find Mitch sitting near some nomad graves, and he’ll enlist you to give his late friend Scorpion the sendoff that he deserves.

Follow Mitch

Mitch will lead you over to where his car is parked next to that of Scorpion.

Talk to Mitch

Talk to him, and he will tell you to take his car and follow him.

Get in Mitch’s car

Don’t screw up his presets.

Follow Mitch

Mitch will lead you to a highway that ends in a huge canyon beneath.

Talk to Mitch

Well this plan just got crazy.

Take the gas container

On the ground near the patio furniture is a large white gas can. Grab it!

Put the gas container in the passenger seat of Scorpion’s car

Bring the gas can with you.

Talk to Mitch

Head back to Mitch and he’ll get you to do the honors.

Light the rag on fire

Of course Mitch gives you the dangerous job.

See you, Scorpion. I hardly knew ye.

Follow Mitch

Mitch goes to the edge and checks out Scorpion’s automotive funeral pyre, then head over to the patio furniture for a toast to his friend’s memory.

Talk to Mitch

Hoist one to Scorpion, then go your separate ways.

This finishes I’ll Fly Away side quest job in Cyberpunk 2077 (CP77).
