Small Man, Big Evil is a Gig in Cyberpunk 2077 (CP77). This walkthrough will guide you through all steps of the Small Man, Big Evil Gig (Side Quest).
Area: Watson (Kabuki)
Quest Giver: Regina Jones
Requirement: Reach Street Cred Level 15, Complete Monster Hunt Gig – if the Gig doesn’t show up after that try sleeping at V’s apartment and go to the quest starting location and it should show up when you get within 100 meters
Reward: 254 XP / 572 Street Cred / €$2930
Mission Info: Gig Type: Gun For Hire
Target: Jae Hyun
Location: Rooftop slums near Allen St.
Countless dreamers hear to the big cities in search of a fresh start. And so many of them have nowhere to return to. Outcasts, loners, rejects. Jae-Hyun’s put a targets on the backs of those societ’s failed. And there’s no shortage of them in Night City.
Here’s the rundown of Jae Hyun’s meat grinder: he identifies some poor bastard, kidnaps them, and delivers them to scavs for biomon or other cyberwar removal. They’re stripped of their identities and end up the “property” of some shitbag like Jataro to do with as they please.
Course no one really looks for these people. And even if they did where would they start? What are the odds? To find someone in Night City who doesn’t exist? Let’s face it – Jae-Hyun is just one head of the hydra, but fuck it – let’s chop it off anyway. Could be a good while before more grow back in his place.
Objectives:
- Go To The Slums
- Find Jae-Hyun In The Restricted Part Of The Slums
- Neutralize Jae-Hyun
Starting Location: Small Man, Big Evil
Gig: Small Man, Big Evil Gig starts in Watson (Kabuki).
Go To The Slums
From the location above, head up into the slums and up the stairs.
Find Jae-Hyun In The Restricted Part Of The Slums
Make your way past the first two enemies by going through the doorway on the right and passing the enemy in braindance. You can either go in guns blazing or stealth your way around the area. If you choose the stealth option to get to Jae-Hyun, move into the next building, on the outer edge, and use the floodlight to distract the enemy nearby. Once they move, incapacitate them and move them inside the next building and into the container on your left.
Take out the enemy in the next room and place them into the container as well.
Outside, one enemy will be patrolling from one side of the slum to the other, waiting and looking over the street below for a good while. When he turns towards the side with the fence, make your way to the door and sneak past the guard looking out of it. Be careful as they are right next to you as you enter the door on the right.
After entering the building, head out of the door on your right and watch out for that patrolling enemy, making sure he isn’t overlooking this section. If he is, just wait for him to move away. Climb up the ladder, take out the sniper up on this roof and loop around to the other side to find Jae-Hyun.
Neutralize Jae-Hyun
Whether you want to kill them or incapacitate them, take them down and then use the billboard and balcony to jump back down to street level.
Leave
After returning to street level, Regina will call you and complete the mission.
This finishes Small Man, Big Evil gig in Cyberpunk 2077 (CP77).
