In Cyberpunk 2077 (CP77), Legendaries are the highest grade of gear you can find and buy. There are Legendary Weapons, Legendary Armor, Legendary Cyberware. This guide shows the locations where to find all Legendaries in Cyberpunk 2077.
There are 6 main ways to get Legendaries: Dropped by Bosses, Buying them from specific Merchants, from Crafting, from Rewards of completing other game tasks, found in the world, random enemy drops after reaching character level 32.
This guide will list all Legendaries by their Weapon Type / Armor Type / Cyberware. This way you can quickly find the item class you’re most interested in.
Important: You can upgrade any ICONIC GEAR you find from lower grade to legendary grade via crafting (Uncommon > Rare > Epic > Legendary). To do this, put 18 Points into Technical Ability. In the “Crafting” Skill tree buy these Perks: “True Craftsman” (craft Rare) > “Grease Monkey” (craft Epic) > “Edgerunner Artisan” (craft Legendary) > “Tune-Up” (upgrade from lower quality).
This guide focuses on the items you can find as legendary grade outright at fixed locations. Technically, there are as many “legendaries” as there are items in the game because they can drop randomly during Gigs after you’ve reached Level 32 (the chance increases gradually as you level up, but they only start dropping after you are level 32). Because you can craft Legendaries there’s also one for each iconic gear + legendary crafting spec in the game. The item values also change depending on your level (i.e. the weapon damage & armor values go up if you find/buy them at a higher character level).

Completing Side Gig: Eye for an Eye and SPARING Tucker will let you access her secret safe containing a legendary outer torso vest (4 slots/ lvl. 36/ 144.4 armor).
As of 12/11/20 you can spare her for the safe, and then kill her for her drops + mission completing as if you you didn’t spare her at all.
I reloaded the mission 4 times to be safe and the armor spawned identically. I am level 20 playing on the hardest difficulty.

The prices at the gunshop were slightly cheaper for me.
madjack123 says
It’s most likely that cost is somewhat tied to your level, so the higher level you are the more stuff costs

There’s a quest to pick up old recordings of Johnny’s gigs. The guy who eventually has them, if you can talk him into letting you buy them, also has a legendary t-shirt with the band’s logo on it. It has 4 open mod slots.

Hi
I don’t care too much about crafting in this game because you always find new and better weapons in the world anyway. But there is the craft 3 legendary items trophy. So to craft legendary items you only need to dismantle legendary items in order to have enough crafting materials? Or do you need to dismantle common, rare, epic etc items as well? I’m asking because if I don’t I rather sell them to work towards the Autojack trophy.
Thanks!
Ryder says
Yup. What I did though is save my atrribute points and perk points, make a manual save, then put them all in crafting. Lastly, I made three legendary item components and the trophy popped for me.
