Big Pete runs a garage out here in the Badlands, fixes up clunkers for the Raffen Shiv. Before that he was hustling as a techie in Night City. Now Pete’s not your definition of a nice guy. Soon enough he made some powerful enemies and had to skip town. Just so happens Pete’s enemies are my friends and I owe said friends a favor. You make Big Pete eat dust – I get one less favor to owe. It’s not hard to find him. Just try any of the Wraith’s garages.

- Find Big Pete
- Neutralize Big Pete
- Leave the area
Starting Location: Big Pete’s Got Big Problems
Gig: Big Pete’s Got Big Problems starts in southern Badlands.
Get inside Big Pete’s garage
A straightforward gig. Not much to worry about here, but be aware of the pair of autoturrets near the road, as well as the sniper on the roof of the gas station.
Find Big Pete
If you don’t Big Pete will find you.
Neutralize Big Pete
That’s what you get for bringing a knife to a gunfight.
Alternatively, if you’re not strong enough to fight all of Pete’s men, you can try to reach the basement where Pete is hiding in complete stealth and convince Pete to leave the city instead of killing him. If you enter combat at all during the approach, Pete has a tendency to attack you the second he sees you instead of talking it out. So while this is technically an option, you’re trading all the XP, guns, loot, and skill advancement of killing everyone and looting everything in the area for an extra €$5410 and an extra 10-15 minutes of work.
So while this is a possible option, by the numbers it doesn’t seem like a very good trade. Sack up, V. Put on your big boy pants and get to murderin’.
Leave the area
Kill everything that moves, then walk away counting your eddies. Mission accomplished.
