In Red Dead Redemption 2 doing a Coach Robbery is needed for 100% Completion.
How to Rob Coaches:
After the mission Friends in Very Low Places you can interact with two crooked Station Clerks to buy tips for valuable Coach-targets:
- Alden – Rhodes (Example below)
- Hector – Strawberry
- Go to the Rhodes’ Post Office and speak to the Clerk
- Buy a Robbery Tip

- Head to the location marked on the map
- Take out the riders and either shoot the driver or jump on the wagon to take control
- Head towards the Wagon Fence (Seamus) near Emerald Ranch
- If you have fragile cargo, drive extra careful, so that nothing slips off the carriage
- Head into Seamus’ barn to sell it successfully
If done correctly it will add towards your “Robberies” on the 100% Progression Checklist.
Only if you accept a stagecoach robbery mission from Aiden or Hector it will trigger a proper “stagecoach robbery mission”. Of course for some quick cash you can just steal a random stagecoach of the road and drive it to the fence at Emerald Ranch for some cash (east of Valentine), but this does not satisfy the 100% completion requirement.

So I’m not able to get the 100% completion because I need to rob 3 stage coaches in a single day, but the discourages men have stopped so I can’t rob a ransoms coach to a fence and that wouldn’t contribute to the completion that’s really annoying

It won’t mark a location on my map. Does anyone know why? I already did the mission and I’m in chapter 4?

Did you read the little note (a piece of paper) you get from Alden or Hector when you initiate the mission? You have to read it, then the location is marked on your map.

For the task ‘Rob 3 Coaches at one day’, it’s enough to deliver random coaches to emerald ranch.
I recommend you to sleep until morning so you’ve got enough time. You can start from the top of Saint Denis because the’re always coaches nearby.

for the Bandit challenge, you can rob any stagecoaches.

For the Bandit challenge, I went on to a road and took every coach I saw to Seamus’. In no time were I done with that challenge and a few bucks richer.

For anyone trying to “rob 3 stagecoaches in one day”, you can just hang out a few hundred feet away from Seamus in Emerald Ranch and for some reason, there’s a coach coming through that crossroad about every 30 seconds. I finished this challenge in 5 minutes by just shooting the driver in the face, hopping on the coach, and turning it in.
