Cyberpunk 2077 Stadium Love Walkthrough

December 22, 2020 by PowerPyx 14 Comments

Stadium Love is a Side Job in Cyberpunk 2077 (CP77). This walkthrough will guide you through all steps of the Stadium Love Side Quest.

Area: Santo Domingo (Rancho Coronado)
Quest Giver: 6th Street Gang Leader
Requirement: Get close to the starting location to trigger this & must have finished Main Job Playing for Time.
Reward: Iconic Weapon “Divided We Stand” (Smart Assault Rifle) – lootable
Mission Info: Hey, if you wanna crash that party, I can respect that. Sometimes those parties kick the most ass. Just watch yourself – this ain’t your uncle’s birthday barbecue. One wrong word, one false step… there could be blood.

Objectives:

  • See what’s going on
  • Talk to the 6th Street Leader –> depending on your dialogue choices, the job will either end here or continue with a shooting range challenge
  • Get as many points as possible (0/44)
    • Go to the first station & drink the shot
    • Go to the second station & drink the shot
    • Go to the third station & drink the shot
    • Go to the fourth station & drink the shot
  • Return to the 6th Street Leader
  • Ask about your results
    • Collect your reward –> only if you hit all 44 targets

This Quest has multiple outcomes. The required choices and possible outcomes are all explained under “Talk to the 6th Street Leader” objective.

Starting Location: Stadium Love

Side Job: Stadium Love starts in Santo Domingo (Rancho Coronado), only shows up in your quest log / world map after you get very close to this location.

See what’s going on

Once you arrive at the location, go to the rooftops to find some people dancing and playing music.

Talk to the 6th Street Leader

At the end of the roof with the party people, you find the 6th Street Gang Leader. He’s the one you’ll want to talk to.

Depending on your dialogue choices there are different ways this Side Job can play out (peaceful and violent endings). If you engaged in combat with the 6th Street Gang during gig “Life’s Work” then the peaceful option is completely voided and it can only end in a violent gunfight.

Peaceful Outcome:

  • Pick these dialogues: “Chill. Just wanna have some fun” > “Having yourselves a competition? I want in” > “I’m in” > Hit all 44 targets to win the shooting competition if you want to win the Iconic SMG as a reward.
    • If you don’t place first (didn’t hit all 44 targets) then it will still complete the quest peacefully but you can’t loot the gun.

Violent Outcome:

  • Attack the 6th Street Gang at any point in this quest –> this will fail the quest.
  • Pick dialogues: “What’d you say to me?” > “Draw Weapon” –> results in combat but still counts the quest as successfully completed.
  • If you engaged in combat with the 6th Street Gang during gig “Life’s Work” then the peaceful option is completely voided and it can only end in a violent gunfight.

Other Outcomes:

  • Pick dialogue “Whatever. See you”. –> you will walk away and it instantly completes the job in your journal. If you go on to shoot the gang leader you can still loot the gun.
  • In any other dialogue choose to walk away (“I’m going” / “Nah, not for me”) –> same outcome as above

To get the iconic gun you must either win the competition by shooting all 44 targets or engage in combat and then loot it.

Get as many points as possible (0/44)

If you’re going for the “peaceful” path, you will need to go through 4 shooting stations. At each you must first drink some alcohol which will make the screen a bit blurry. Then you must shoot 11 targets within 12 seconds. To win the iconic gun at the end you must hit all 44 targets. You can’t make saves in between. Alternatively, if you don’t place first you can simply shoot the gang leader after completing the quest and still loot the gun then.

It’s best you shoot all targets from left to right without skipping any. This isn’t particularly difficult because these targets are all stationary. It’s more accurate to aim down the sights than to use hipfire. It can also help to Handguns Perk “Gunslinger” which reduces your reload time with Revolvers by up to 25%.

Shooting Station #1

Shooting Station #2

Shooting Station #3

Shooting Station #4 – Note: on your way there, you might be spotted by some other enemies which can trigger combat. Just ignore them to not mess up anything with the gang. If you’re in combat the drinking interaction can become a bit glitchy but just keep walking towards the glass of alcohol until you can interact with it.

Return to the 6th Street Leader

After the shooting contest, return to the gang leader on the roof again.

Ask about your results

If you won, the leader will basically try to recruit you to his gang. But both dialogues you can pick from will decline the offer, so it doesn’t matter. If you placed 2nd he’ll still be impressed with your performance but you can’t loot his gun from the table (unless you go on to shoot him).

Collect your reward

If you placed first, you can pick up the gun from the table. If not, you can let the quest complete and then shoot the gang leader to still loot it. This weapon is only blue rarity so not too big a deal if you leave it behind.

This finishes Stadium Love side quest job in Cyberpunk 2077 (CP77).

Gun must have been nerfed at the last patch. It loaded as 177 DPS for me when I picked it up. Reloaded 5 times to see if it would pick up higher, but every time it came out the same. Must not be random, but fixed stats now. Crafted to legendary for these stats: 487.3 DPS, 45-55 Damage, 6.52 APS, 34-42 Chem, 40.15% Crit Chance, 116.80% Crit Dmg, 25% Poison Chance, 3.15 Headshot Multiplier, 4 mod slots. Haven’t tried it out yet, but seems kinda weak compared to Moron Labe, which I was able to craft to legendary for 671 Damage, then with upgrades and mods was able to get to 859.3/100-122. But, then again, Moran Labe is not a Smart gun, perhaps Divided We Stand will be amazing with that poison.

Ok, had a chance to test it out. It’s insanely OP. Probably too much so, and I’m playing on Very Hard. Takes out whole squads with a clip or two. They can’t really fire back much because they’re too busy getting riddled with bullets and the poison they bring with them due to the guns crazy high fire rate.

It looks like this is patched on ps4 at least. If you kill them and take the gun it down grades to rare. Lame.

I won the game fair & square. Still picked up as rare & had to be upgraded to legendary.

If the job is stated as failed, will it still count towards the completion of all gigs for the platinum trophy?

This quest was bugged for me on PS4 Pro, patch 1.06. After I took the second drink at station 2, the game would not let me raise the gun again until the quest was over. Reloaded prior saves multiple times, and this occurred each time.

confirmed also – patch 1.06 and after climbing the ladder at the second station the gun is lowered and you can’t draw the weapon
Shot 12 at station 1 too.

There are some Valentino gang members nearby. If you get one to drop a pistol, you can use it instead. I got one to drop a Unity with 12 rounds and equipped it from the drop.

If you drop equip the Unity and scrap the Nova, it will force the game to Autosave prior to each round. Then you’ll be provided a new Nova for the round.
Upon completion of each round, drop equip the Unity, scrap the Nova then go to the next round. It’ll keep autosaving so you don’t have to go back to the first if you dont get all 11 shots in a round.

duuhhh, stumbled into this side gig not realizing what it was – one of them started shooting at me and I killed all of ’em still not knowing wth was going on until while looting I found the DWS weapon…… oops

YMMV, but @ Level 33, Street Cred 50, slow playing the game, (still just @ the Talk to Takamura stage of the game) the Psalm 11:6 one-shot’d most of ’em and no way I’m swapping it out for the Divided We Stand rifle.

If you are struggling, something that worked for me – the game kind of autosaves just before each round. If you don’t get 11 then reload the last autosave. Just to be safe walk all the way to the line to ensure it triggers the autosave. Had reload speed maxed for handguns.

i had such a hard time with this mission until i just equipped sandevistan and added a sight and silencer to the pistol (cuz why not, might as well reduce the recoil too). once i did that I hit every single target on my first try for a score of 44/44. i highly recommend doing this if you’re having trouble!

None of the advice listed here works with version 2.12.

Gun will automatically switch back to the default nova, even if you picked up/drop equipped, a Valentino weapon.

Also it wont save between rounds even if you scrap the nova or get close to line.

I had to beat it legit to get the reward peacefully.
