Error 404 is a Gig in Cyberpunk 2077 (CP77). This walkthrough will guide you through all steps of the Error 404 Gig (Side Quest).
Area: Santa Domingo (Rancho Coronado)
Quest Giver: Muamar “El Capitan” Reyes
Requirement: Reach Street Cred Rank 1
Reward: 565 XP / 1270 Street Cred / €$2710
Mission Info: Gig Type: Agent Saboteur
Objective: Bring down propaganda machine slandering Weldon Holt
Location: Garage on Oak St.
Politics. Only thing slimier than the thangs at Licks. At least corpos usually tell you to your face how they’re gonna screw you in the end. Fake smiles, impossible promises, shameless pandering – all foreplay till they fuck you in the ass and pay themselves for it with eddies outta your wallet. It’s in their nature. And what’s in ours? Blowing shit up. Got just such a gig for you this time.
6th Street’s got a striffy Jefferson Peralex so they have these servers pumping out anti-Holt propaganda. They see Peralez becoming mayor as like the second coming of Abraham Lincoln or some shit, here to unite the city with the NUSA. Naive gonks.
TL:DR – My client wants 6th street’s propaganda machine gone. Simple.
Objectives:
- Enter The Garage Area
- Search For Garage 66
- Install Malware
- Leave The Area
Starting Location: Error 404
Enter The Garage Area
From the location above, head into the garage by disabling the security camera in the first building and incapacitating the guard in here as well.
Search For Garage 66
From here, take a right at the first junction and look for the lift machine about halfway up the path.
Activate this lift so that it will go up and then jump onto the rubble it is holding. From here, you can jump up to the roof of the central set of garages.
The garage will be just ahead of you on the left. Wait for the enemies sitting by it to disperse in there own directions and then hop down to reach it. The way is clear, but be careful of the snipers sitting on the rooftop across from you.
Install Malware
Once you reach the garage, install the malware on the computer.
Leave The Area
From the garage, turn around and head down the alley and use the lift to jump up to the rooftop you were just on. Be careful for a patrolling enemy around here, so either take it slow, incapacitate them, or make a save if you plan to do this stealthily.
You can then hop across the rooftops by running and jumping, getting out of the area and finishing the gig.
