Host in the Shell is a side mission in Borderlands 4 DLC #1: Mad Ellie and the Vault of the Damned. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Host in the Shell Side Quest.
- DLC required: Mad Ellie and the Vault of the Damned
- Starting Location: Kairos > The Whispering Glacier > Vault of the Damned
- Quest Giver: Robby
- Unlock Requirement: having finished Main Quest 5: Damnation Encroaches
- Reward: Money, XP, Eridium, Shield (Green or Blue rarity), Cosmetic: ECHO-4 Skin
- Quest Description: Robby’s having trouble adjusting to his new life as Mancubus’s hosting apprentice. Help show him the ropes. The totally normal, not at all horrifying ropes.
Objectives:
- Speak to Robby at The Speakeasy
- Clean the basement
- Pickup dirty towels
- Go to the cleansing circle
- Kill creeps over towels x5
- Reach antenna
- Activate antenna x3
- Return to Robby
Starting Location: Host in the Shell
Speak to Robby at The Speakeasy
Robby is at the bar, just talk to him.
Clean the basement
From the bar turn around and go downstairs, then jump down next to the stairs to reach the basement.
Pickup dirty towels
To get the towels, head upstairs and go above the bar. The towels are behind Malorp.
Go to the cleansing circle
Now head to the south side of the map to find a circle on the ground.
Kill creeps over towels x5
Kill the creeps while at least a part of them is on the towel or else it will not count for the objective.
Reach antenna
To the west of your current position you can find the antenna.
Activate antenna x3
You have to activate three switches to activate it. For the first one, use your grappling hook to make a platform, then get onto it to activate the switch.
From the first switch, look above you and to the right, climb up that metal wall to reach the second switch.
From the second switch, look above you and to the right again and use your grappling hook to get up there.
Then jump over to the other side to reach the third switch.
Return to Robby
Now head back to Robby in The Speakeasy and talk to him.
