Bullets is a Side Job in Cyberpunk 2077 (CP77). This walkthrough will guide you through all steps of the Bullets Side Quest.
Area: Downtown (City Center)
Quest Giver: Zane
Requirement: Complete “Playing for Time”
Reward: 684XP, 1538 Street Cred
Mission Info: Looks like there’s some justice in the world after all. My little merc wants to play dress-up like a corp, then all of the sudden a cyberpsycho kicks down the shop’s door. Coincidence? Sure, probably, but a f’in delightful one. I hope you learn a valuable lesson today. That is, if you survive ’til the end of it.
Objectives:
- Defeat cyberpsycho
- Talk to the MaxTac officer
- Sit next to Zane
Starting Location: Bullets
Defeat cyberpsycho
Head to the mission marker above and walk into the Zinguji Shop and speak to Zane. After speaking to him a cyberpsycho will burst through the door and start attacking all the guards. You will need to hold him off until backup arrives. It’s a smaller area but there’s enough cover to be able to run around avoiding his swings while using quickhacks and shooting him. Keep the pressure on him and once he is near 25% health the backup will arrive. Finish him off with the help of the backup.
Talk to the MaxTac officer
Once the cyberpsycho has been defeated, head over to the officer with the marker above her head. She will tell you she wants you to sit next to Zane.
Sit next to Zane
Sit on the smaller couch next to the couch Zane is sitting on and go through the dialogue. Once the dialogue is over you will have to stand and the mission will complete.

It’s worth noting that if you use System Reset to knock out the cyberpsycho, the quest will not advance to the point where MaxTac arrives unless you then kill him. I’ve seen claims online that using System Reset “soft locks” the quest, but actually that’s untrue, you can still kill him then go and stand by Zane and MaxTac should arrive.
If you have a high enough tech skill you can talk to the female MaxTac officer with the mantis blades about her blades afterwards, and the details (model number, etc) are supposedly a reference to the original 2013 Cyberpunk trailer. There’s a dialogue choice to join MaxTac after but it doesn’t seem to have any effect.

More than a reference. The woman in the trailer is Melissa Rory who was apparently captured, rehabilitated and then joined MaxTac. She reappears as the MaxTac Lt in this job.

Side note even with the pax mod on your weapons it seems that the cyberpycho still is killed (I have it on All my guns )
